Arielle’s research featured in SAS Frontiers

OMP student Arielle Fogel recently presented her research at University of Pennsylvania’s Undergraduate Research Fair. SAS Frontiers recorded Arielle speaking about her project and featured her in Next Gen Minds (check out the video below).

Currently a senior majoring in biology, Arielle titled her project: “Social Environment and Cortisol Levels in a Captive Population of Owl Monkeys.”

Inspired by her interest in evolution and social systems, Arielle says she got in touch with P.I. Eduardo Fernandez-Duque to begin studying Owl Monkeys. Arielle later joined OWP PhD candidate Andrea Spence-Aizenberg in Bastrop, Texas to study the primates there.

Frontiers promotes and presents undergraduate research and scholarship from the Penn’s School of Arts and Science.

Congrats, Arielle!
